Siouxland District Health Department contracts with the Iowa Department of Public Health to conduct public swimming pool and whirlpool (spa) inspections in Woodbury, Plymouth, Sioux, Lyon, Osceola, O'Brien, Dickinson, and Palo Alto counties in Iowa. Public swimming pools and spas include city pools, waterparks, motels, health clubs, schools, country clubs, camps, and most apartments and condominiums.
