Appointed to the Board of Health on January 7, 1997 and is currently serving as the Chair.   She is retired Special Education/Early Childhood Nurse at Northwest Area Education Agency. Ms. Turner worked with families and children, newborn to school age, with actual or potential developmental delays due to medical complications or other factors. Ms. Turner has a long history of working within the Siouxland community and networking with community agencies. 

Appointed to the Board of Health on Oct. 18, 2022. Currently serving as the Superintendent of Schools for Sergeant Bluff-Luton CSD. Mr. Janzen serves the SDHD as a representative of the school districts of Siouxland promoting communication and collaboration between the schools and SDHD.                                                                                                  

Appointed to the Board of Health on January 29, 2019. Dr. Granger is employed by Unity Point- St. Luke’s as a part-time Pediatric Hospitalist. She is also very active in the community and is passionate about preventative health and maximizing children’s potential with regards to health. She is committed to serving her community and commits volunteer time to the Prime Age to Engage literacy initiative, HOPES Advisory Board and the Bishop Heelan Catholic Board of Education Leadership Committee. Dr. Granger is a native of Sioux City and returns to her native community with a perspective shaped as a Air Force Veteran and having lived in several communities with various strengths and social supports. She looks to support the Board of Health in their work to create community-wide initiatives to positively impact the health and well-being of its citizens.

Appointed to the Board in July 2020, Diane currently serves as the Vice President of Quality and Integration at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center.  She holds a Nursing degree from Augustana College and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration.

Elected to the Woodbury County Board of Supervisors in November 2022 and appointed to the Board of Health on January 10, 2024.  Daniel A. Bittinger II originally from Wadsworth Ohio moved with his family to Sioux City in 2014.  He is the lead pastor at Crosspointe Church which is located on the west side of Sioux City.  Daniel holds a B.S. in Mass Communications, with a focus in video broadcast, from Southeastern University.  He has been an ordained minister with The Assemblies of God Fellowship since 2012.  He has been married to his wife Jinger for over 20 years.  Together, they have 3 wonderful teenagers.  His focuses are budget accountability, promoting tax relief, economic development, striving to keep Woodbury County within its constitutional authority, and supporting the rule of law. 

Joining the Board of Health on March 13, 2024, Michael List, Investment Management Officer at Security National Bank, works on the investment team within the Wealth Management division.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from Creighton University and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2024 and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2012.
