The Siouxland Community Cancer Coalition was formed in 2025 to address the increasing rate of cancer in Woodbury County, through our Community Health Assessment/Community Health Improvement Plan (CHA CHIP). Our goal is to decrease the incidence and mortality rates of colon, cervical, and breast cancer in the community through enhanced prevention, early detection, and access to treatment.

Age-adjusted prevalence of meeting colorectal cancer screening guidelines among adults aged 45–75 years, 2022 Behavioral Risk Surveillance System (BRFSS), Woodbury County = 70%
